440 LC engine temp?

i have a 78 440 liquifire and i'm just wondering what coolant temp should usually be running at?
78 Liquifire 440
81 440 invader ( very fast )

The engines run cooling than a typical car does. Of the top of my head, about 140 to 160 deg sound "normal" with 180 being on the warmer end of the scale.
