I think you have to move the tunnel mounting holes.

The drivers and shaft are bolt in deal. It makes it more simple if you use the AC track (16x121) Then you can use 2 of the existing holes with the 80 LF susp. I am doing a AC track swap with an 80 LF susp In a 76 LF chassis. They fit pretty well. the 78 are a bit different with mounting holes but it will work.

Kenny,

Why do you want to use the shorter track? I smell something evil here...

A few of the guys are working on making clone 78 CC skids to use the 121" rubber Cat track. It seems to start with an 80 LF skid, but requires new rear axle brackets to use the larger 7 1/8" idler. Waters boy did something simular to his I-500 sled to go to a 121 on an 80 LF.

Joe, nothing going on, other than I'm to cheap to spend that much on Tuckers Cyclone & the fact that we have 4 80 Liquifire doner sleds that hopefully I can find a good track in.. I already found on of them having a bad track.. I was hoping that some one had already done so, So I would know IF I had to drill different holes or what?? & where to drill them..

I'd like the measurements as well, as I have the same situation. Instead I'd be putting the 80 track, skid and drive into a 76 liquifire.
