My new project, Liquid 600

Post by S_Kyle »

Well since I asked the question about the 800 pipe and the LF motor, I might as well reveal the rest of the project. I have been kicking around this idea for a few years and figure I might as well get on with it. I plan to clean up the parts pile and build with what I have, my plan is;

74 600 tunnel, already has a large hole cut in it from previous owner
75 600 hood and tank
77 440 LF motor
75 800 pipe
77 LF clutches
77 LF heat exchangers, modded to get rid of the hose "hump" in the back.
I am also kicking around the idea of a 77 LF jack shaft and an 82 LF chain case.

Well what do you guys think?

It works, I installed a 78 440 Liquidfire engine in a 73 JDX 8. I also used a JD 800 pipe
without the can, it sounds great. The secondary clutch from the a Liquifire will not
work becauseit is to large. I cut the tunnel and installed the coolers under the seat
and they work good. I will try and learn to post pictures soon.

I've decided to do either a cyclone 4 wheeler or a 4 wheel Spitfire as one of my summer projects...I have an old lawn tractor to robb some larger rear tires/front tires and spindles from....should be a good way to cause some bleeding both external and internal :P
