Instrument Panel 1972 400

Post by jeffreyrempel »

Hi.
I need an instrument panel for my 1972 John Deere 400 restoration(m63373)
The difference between the (2551-11000) models is that both mounting tabs are the same size.
It would be nice to have since I dont have one, and I have 1972 NOS Speedometer and 1972 NOS Tachometer with no where to go :boohoo:

I can pay with Pay Pal. Thanks,
Jeff

I thought there was one in the sled parts you picked up here? By the time you finish that sled you'll be too old to ride it :P

If your talking about the guard, You didnt have the front guard, you had the rear belt guard.
The 72 engine was siezed, and I couldnt salvage the crank, and I didnt get an instrument panel.

Your never too old to ride :lol22:

Finally, someone answered my wanted add on kijiji yesturday(its only been on there for 2 years) :beers;
I went to see the sled, and to my surprise.... a Complete 1972 400 in excelent shape. It has everything, except the instument panel is broken.

So, I still need an instrument panel. I am so close. A big bonus as well- It has the original snowmobile cover, and the starter kit.

This means that I will have a lot of extra parts, so I will let you guys know what I have up for grabs after I pick up the sled.

As well I am going to pick up 3 crates of NOS parts today. I will look through them and let you know what I have.

I know, "beat up 300's" is about the size if it. I am very happy about my find, and I will post pictures of the sled once I have it.

I looked though the NOS parts I picked up today, and I am going to have to look up the part #'s to be able tell you what most of it is, because I dont recognize most of the parts. I have only ever worked on 100 series sleds, and most of the parts don't look familiar to me.

Maybe your ship has come in and all the NOS parts are for the 340-S.

It could happen.....
