84 Liquifire available in Maryland

I picked up a pretty decent 84 Liquifire. This one was pulled from a barn on Wednessday. On Thursday I ran it through the carwash. I still need to clean up the hood and the seat is a definite candidate to be recovered. I do know where there is a NOS seat that is available if desired. I am in the process of replacing the fuel lines. For my own purposes I would like to hear her run before stating a sale price. I would consider this one a 7 out of 10 and an excellent candidate for a restoration. I did read 150+ pounds on each cylinder with good solid spark as well. Feel free to shoot an offer to purchase as if you would like, the worst I can say is no. The sled is located near Frederick, Maryland.

Sure did. Man was that guy hard to get ahold of. Been chasing this one since late winter.

Funny thing is i called the same guy when it was first posted and never called me back ?? Had Pat call and he got ahold of him but could never get a day to go look at it ??

when i was living in york pa, there was a guy that had a liquidator for sale down that way, not too for from york area, then another guy that hadd a really nice spitfire in brouge pa, seems like there are some nice jd's in that area, i was just curious if it came outta york pa area

Not Yok, it was in PA just outside of Newark DE. I had his info on a piece of paper. I was going to throw the paper out when I was cleaning my office last week. It had been months since I had communicated with the guy. I decided to give it one more try an low and behold he answers. He said "You still want that thing, sure I still have it"!! When I asked when I could come take a look he said tomorrow. I dropped everything and away I went. When I left his place I went to look at a few other sleds that I had wanted to check out. If anyone is looking for a good rider Indy Trail 488 let me know. $650 and she is yours, not a show queen but a good rider for sure.

Was ths sled located in the Kennet Square / Avandale Area. There was an 84 Liq. listed on Craigslist a while ago that Rob and I were trying check out. The owner was unavailable most of the time and had his friend place the add. They were supposed to move the sled to the friends house and get back to me.

Sounds like the same one but not the same area, although I don't know what that area was called.
