WTB 81/82 440 Sportfire

Looking for a 440 Sportfire. One that needs alittle tlc would be great.
Thinking of building E stock drag sled for daughter. Want something different.

Steve,
If you go '80 - '81 you get a cleated track, 82+ you get a solid rubber track. I'm not sure what works best for you, but I thought that might be useful info.

Thanks for all the info. Looking to build something different for daughter to race.
Like the idea of a 440, with comet clutch to start with. Cleated track is a little faster in
small hp sleds. Less weight. What size carb is on this motor? Again thanks for all the info.
Always raced big prostock Skidoos so something this small and stock will be new.

They have a Mik 34 power jet carb !

jdrob tks. Also the Sportfire has different cylinders then the trailfire. Different porting?
What driven does deer use?

You are correct to the best of my little knowledge :) they do have different porting ! The driven Is "deere" i do believe :) Let me know if you don't find anything out your way ! I have mine forsale pretty darn cheap !
