Yesterday I was taking some parts off of a free 76 cyclone donor sled I found
and noticed that there is an aluminum plate behind the headlight to direct
intake air to the rubber hose, I looked at my 78 cyc and 76 liq and they are
not there, are they supposed to be? If so does it matter much and does anyone
have one to sell? I wouldnt think it would matter a ton but.....
thanks for any help

Re: cyclone air intake
They are easily bent and many hoods are found without the baffle in my findings. Is it's main function to direct air or keep the light from the headlight directed forward??

Re: cyclone air intake

Re: cyclone air intake
I have two cyclones, one with air intake cover and one without. Have not noticed a difference, however, some have said that in deep powder it can get you in trouble,
a big gulp of snow straight to the engine and you are done!
