TR800 Secondary question

Post by TOYMECH »

Hello,
I happened to come by a new, unused TR800 primary with some other parts. Other parts are two secondaries - new and unused. Both look to be made for "chaincase model New Breed" sleds. None of these have any part numbers. My question to someone who has more experience with the TR800 drive system is - How do i distinguish a secondary clutch intended for a TR800 application as opposed to one intended for a 102C application?
I compared the two units and could not readily see a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

From what the parts catalog I have says, the secondaries meant for the TR800 have the Cam as part #AM55357 and it has a remark next to it noting it is 44°. The catalog also lists some differences in the washers used in the sheaves.

It sounds like the helix is the 44 deg helix and has additional shims.

Id just make sure the secondary is shimmed correctly for the wider belt.
