Wade,
To the best of my limited knowledge Wiseco is the only piston manufacturer that used the top "L" ring. I would look inside the piston. Is there a part number on a wrist pin boss? Possibly stamped or cast into the inside of the dome or skirt?

thanks guys, i dont have the pistons off the rods yet as the crank bearings are stuck but the rod bearings do spin on the crank .ive been soaking this motor for about a year now with blaster and i just rescently got one jug off!! anxious to get the crank to jerome as long as the rod throws arent pitted he thinks he can fix it we will see!!

I told you my knowledge was limited! I have to eat crow on telling you that Wiseco was the only piston manufacturer to use the "L" ring. Others use that design as well on certain engines. It would be interesting to see what you come up with when you get one of those pistons off. Keep us posted.
