Wade,

To the best of my limited knowledge Wiseco is the only piston manufacturer that used the top "L" ring. I would look inside the piston. Is there a part number on a wrist pin boss? Possibly stamped or cast into the inside of the dome or skirt?

Wade,

I told you my knowledge was limited! I have to eat crow on telling you that Wiseco was the only piston manufacturer to use the "L" ring. Others use that design as well on certain engines. It would be interesting to see what you come up with when you get one of those pistons off. Keep us posted.
