That JDX should be the same..same engine and body....
I checked my supply..nothing that doesn't need work...and any others are still out on sleds...if lwb's doesn't pan out let me know..I can go digging in the graveyard! I know I have more on decent sleds..but not ready to part with those yet.

That's crazy. I would never have believed a 300 muffler would be hard to find. Jamie, do you still want a complete ski assembly and a key switch? Does anyone know if 76-77 Cyclone and Liquifire switches will work on 300's?

yeah me either!! other than here i look locally through kijiji and i check out ebay but thats really it for places to shop for one. i went to a snowmobile salvage yead yesterday and found one...thought it was good but when i pulled it out the bottom was rotton. it was really discouraging. i took it anyway as the neck part of it is solid...just in case i need to maufacture something. there is a jdx4 nos muffler on ebay that is almost the same except the neck part that attaches to the exhaust manifold, so i was thinking i may have to buy it , cut it and weld it....but im going to stay patient for a couple more days.
im willig to pay decent $$$ for a solid one, i know its a pain finding time and gettin dirty to get something like this for me so i have no issues paying for your time if someone out there has one in a sled somewhere.
as far as the skis, i ended up getting some yesterday at the salvage yard, thanks anyways...i just figured it would be easier to get there locally, but i thought if you had a muffler i would just do a package deal. i bought a key and ignition switch at canadian tire as well. thanks tho!
as far as the liquifire ignition....yes it works, i have been juggling mine back and forth from my 77 liquifire to the 300 to work on it etc....looking forward to not having to do that!
