My 74 600

Post by Cabindweller »

Here is a video of my 74 600. It is not realy restored, just cleaned up and gone through. I still have some work to do. I need a new seat cover and a windshield and insulation for the heat shield. I installed a battery box and a battery today. Electric start sure is nice. I installed a starter on the motor last time I had it out. Would be great to get some snow around here, so far this winter has been lousy. The video uploaded backwards for some reason.

That's not backwards...that's flipped! It's a mirror image of what it should be. Truly bizzarre!

You look at the sled and everything is WRONG! :lol22:

what the !@#$ did u use to record that.... a fisher price camera? awsome! you should have just acted like it was all good and just said this was a very rare "trial" "reversed" style john deere model designed and sold only to the dislexic customer. Options included reverse.Lmfao

It is the ultra rare European edition, everything flipped for running on the left side of the trail. Seriously I used my Iphone to record it. It got mirriored after I uploaded it to youtube. The file on my Phone and Computer are normal.

I actually bought a 600 at an estate auction and the throttle and brake where reversed. Throttle on the left and brake on the right and flipped for a push instead of a pull. The only thing I could come up with is that the sled must belonged to the one armed man that killed my father.

Bill A few years back I got a 73 500 from a one armed man(old farm accident).
It had the brake on the right and he had a foot throttle put on it.

Jerry the sled sounds good regardless. I love WT's of any color.
