Two '78 cyclone 440's

Post by JD600 »

Hi guys.

I just thought i'd share with you all what Brock and myself have been working on. This is a '78 cyclone 440 that we are doing a complete restoration on for a friend of ours. The video is of another '78 cyclone 440 that was purchased by Brock last summer from a member here. We already rebuilt the engine, carb, clutches and fuel pump, and are in the process of rebuilding the suspension to make a rider out of it. The video is of the first start up of the new engine. More to come, enjoy.

Your shop is very organized. Nice 78's indeed. WOW!!! What kind of a lift do you have under the 78 with skiis on it. Would you buy another one? Better than one that lift pushing up on the running boards?

Bill,

That lift was purchased through the local NAPA store here in town. I know it was pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion (especially since i didn't pay for it lol) We have the other style of lift as well, but the sleds are a little tipsy on it. It is good, however for adjusting track tension and things like that. I'm sure Brock will have something to add.

Bill Yea Dustin said it right NAPA.They had a special back in the spring i think i gave 829.00 w/shipping.Now with that said you have to watch out because some companies sell a cheaper version lift but they are only 24" wide. Then they want you to buy their extension kit that costs another 150 to 200 more to make it a 48" table. Plus they want 150 to ship. This one is 48" wide 98" long.Best money ever spent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more bending over.I think it has the name brand on it somewhere,i will look. Brock
