WTB: A good 76 pan

Post by 80spitfire »

Hey guys,
As many of you may know, I recently was able to acquire a real Dator tunnel for my restoration, but unfortunately, the belly pan is in pretty poor shape. Since the pan is just a standard 76 pan, I'm planning on just reskinning it with a good 76 LF or Cyclone pan. The problem is though, I don't have a good 76 pan. I have found at least one that may work but I want to be sure I get the best one with the least dents that I can. So the question is, do any of you have a good pan maybe on a parts mule that you'd be willing to part with? And if so could you bring it to Waconia? By the way, I'm looking strictly for a 76 pan not a 77 because I want it to have the ribs like the Dators had.

Thanks guys!
Brian

Still looking for a good pan. I'd be willing to buy a whole tunnel to get a good pan.

Thanks,
Brian

Brian, since it's only used in 76 (and 340/S conversions) you need to keep your eye out for pristine sleds for sale. I know it'll cost more but you're more likely to find a good pan that way. I'll keep my eyes open here in NE Indiana.

Brian there's a 76 on VSCA right now in Cornell, WI. $200.00. Photos don't show the complete pan but it doesn't look to bad from what you can see. Phone number is 715-202-3twoeightnine.
