Edit: Thanks to the post below, I realized this sled should not have a wda-1 on it like I mention below. I would like to buy a complete WDA-32 carb.
I've got a '74 400. When i bought it the carb was in pieces (it has a wda-1), I ordered a rebuild kit which came with many parts but I am still missing 3 "valve springs" for it. I found a company online (http://www.norwalkpowerequipment.com) which sold the springs so I ordered them on Dec 8th. I finally got an answer about when I will have them and it's not til the middle of February!
If you have a WDA-1 WDA-32 laying around that you are willing to part out or sell whole (depending on price), I want it. I really just need the 3 valve springs but having a spare carb wouldn't be bad either. The springs are walbro pt. No. 98-186.
I have been messing with this thing for a month and can not get it to run at all. it will run for a few seconds when i prime it, but it is not pulling gas through the carb on its own. I'm sick of messing with it, I tried modifying some springs out of a pen and it is not working.
They are number 31 in the illustration linked below.

Thanks!

Hi.
My parts manual shows that that sled should have had a WDA-32 on it. To my knowledge (and from what i can see in my parts book), Deere never used the WDA-1 on any sled. The vast magority of the '74 sleds had the Bendix carb on them from the factory. Maybe it was changed out with an Arctic Cat unit, or some other brand. At any rate, someone here showld be able to help you out, I just figured this way you can look for the proper carb for your machine.

Hmm, looking back at the manual, it looks like youre right. But it also shows the 3 springs I need in the walbro rebuild seciton. I'm going to assume they are the same. I wonder what the main differences are between the carbs?
I guess I'm looking for a WDA-32 also then!
