Todd, I am not going to argue with you but... I don't belive that the tank is from an OMC, at first glance yes but I belive all of the 1970 ish tanks like that had a 3/8 threaded drain on the lower right side of the tank that is not present in the picture.

That clay spitfire is very interesting. It seems the motor is more to the right side rather then the left like the spitfires are. Nice to see they put a Koehler in it right from the beginning. Best spitfire I ever owned was my 80 chassis with the 78 koehler motor. Sled ran so good and was the most dependable machine I ever had.

Actually, if you look closely at the guages, you can see that both pictures are inverted.
