I'm going to let this one go. It's an 82 Spitfire that I picked up last summer, and it has just over 400 original miles. The sled did have a bad piston and cylinder on the PTO side when I got it. I went through this sled mechanically from top to bottom, and I was able to take it out for a spin tonight. It runs real good and idles good, a little high right now but ok. I will play with the carb tomorrow and see if I can get it dialed in. The suspension was frozen solid so I pulled it out and completely disassembled, cleaned and lubed it, and then put it back together with a new shock. The drive was also removed and new bearings installed. The track is just like new, no cracking or dry rotting, and the cleats all look good. The seat is original, but has two small splits near the rear, probably around a 1/4" long. Front ski's are real good, not perfect but real nice. I have some extra's I can throw in if you would like. Chassis is nice and straight, tunnel is excellent, pan is almost perfect. It had a medium size dent just behind the left ski on the bottom, which I was able to straighten pretty good. Bumper and grab handle are nice and straight, but do have some scratches and surface rust. Snow flap is very good also. Engine was disassembled and cleaned. I had new PTO bearings installed on the crank the rest were good. Replaced the damaged cylinder and installed new pistons and rings. Carb is a Mikuni round slide, the butterfly had a bad part that I can't seem to find anywhere. Clutches are in excellent condition, no wear that I can see. The exhaust still has some of the original paint on it. Hood is nice, it does have one crack, I believe near the hold down strap, but I can look again tomorrow. It does have some paint rubbed off and some scratches though. Decals look good, not faded or worn anywhere. It has new fuel lines, filter, recoil rope, plugs and a windshield. It came with the gauge package also. All the controls, gauges and lights do work. I didn't do anything to this cosmetically, only mechanically. It should be ready to ride for the next owner. One of the members on here has expressed an interest in the sled, so I sent him a pm to see if he is serious on buying. I would like to get $750 for it, so if you are interested let me know, and ask any questions you would like. I plan on listing it elsewhere by the end of the weekend.

The picture doesn't show the air box, but it has one on it now with the correct boot.
