We were planning a trip to Central Michigan this weekend, but there is no snow there either. This is getting to be a real bummer.

Hey Ed,
In the event that we don't get much more snow,it would be nice to do something locally. Do you think there would be enough interest to do a vintage sled night over at the Buffalo Wild Wings on Rt.2 :beers; ? They do some bike nights in the summer and it's a good time. I'm just lookin for something to do  ...?

Hey Tom Like the idea, was actually thinking about doin some kinda thing like that during the winter months  . I even thought about maybe a show and ride out here at the VFW post around the corner from me and talking to the farmer that owns the property across the street about using the field for the ride. I'll have to do some lookin into that, but the Buffalo Wild Wings sounds like a great idea. we should set a time to meet up there and talk about this. :beers; :sled:

I stopped over at Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch today and met with the manager on duty to discuss an organized event vs us just showing up. He said, He'd have his General manager contact me tomorrow to let me know if they have interest. He agreed that this could be advertised like their Bike nights. So, we'll see what his boss says. :usa: Tom

Here's the skinny... Buffalo Wild Wings would like to host a Vintage Snowmobile Night on February 25th :beers; . That is the Oregon,Ohio 43616 location on Rt.2. They have suggested a time frame of 4:00pm-9:00pm. They will cone off the south side of the lot/highway frontage for visual exposure to local interest 8) . They are willing to work on promoting locally with the possibility of starting an annual event if interest warrants.Any feedback as to interest level would help to determine if this is a worthwhile venture. Also,I'll start a separate post for this subject. :usa: Tom

As much as i love this idea, this is the same weekend as the I-170. Maybe that doesn't affect many people, but it may affect some.....
