Betty- The 78/79 Hybrid Spitfire

Post by DeereKid9 »

Awhile back I acquired two spitfires that I decided to combine to make one nice one.

So, I just finished the project (not restoration) today. Took these pictures for a potential buyer and thought I would share them.

Complete engine overhaul, and some new items as well. The usual.

Oh, and why "Betty" you ask? It came already on the one tunnel and it is my late grandmothers name, so I left it on.

Now that is nice. History is good even if it is not race history.
