No buzz kill here. :D This is just an evolving idea in response to the lack of snow. If it doesn't happen this year, maybe I'll work on something earlier next year.Realistically an evening event is probably only good for guys in the immediate area, due to the drive. With Ed's help we'll continue the attempt to put something together for now. We'll see... Besides that, In the words of George Thorogood...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpzqQst-Sg8 8)

Well, Ed, if that is the only day that the restaurant folks can accommodate us, then just go for it! But if they can be flexible, i think another date may yield more participants. Just my thoughts.

Hey Guys,
Posting this here because I don't know if everyone always looks at the events page. As you may already know the Toledo B-dubs show is on for Feb. 25th. 1pm-5pm. We've brought in some sponsors. #1 Buffalo Wild Wings #2 DZ Motorsports #3 Alan Miller Jewelers and Matt has approved using JDsleds.com in our ad. This week our newspaper will have a quarter page ad to promote local interest. With the proper local sponcership and community interest,we'd like to build a viable annual event. Alan Miller Jewelers has offered a $25 Gift Certificate for anyone that pre registers thier sleds on or before Feb 24th. Registration can be done at the store (3239 Navarre ave. Oregon, Ohio 43616) or by email to alan@alanmillerjewelers.com mention sled registration in the subject line. This is an attempt to get some attendance numbers for the B-dubs staffing. Gift certificates are good for anything in the store including basic service work such as "watch batteries" jewelry repairs, etc. For online registrants gift certs will be presented at the show.
I've been speaking with others outside the JD family and hope to see a variety of manufacturers. If anyone has feedback or questions please contact myself or Ed. My daytime # is 419-693-4311 or nights 419-697-0517. Thanks, :usa: Tom

http://www.presspublications.com/family ... e-show-set Here's the latest press publication as to what the Toledo JDsled guys are up to. The show is being promoted with this basic message: "When it comes to Winter Sports there's a New wind blowin'...(Antique and Vintage Snowmobiling) Come on out and feel "The Breeze" K-100 WKKO Shores and Steele will make some morning show discussion on what we're up to. Ed and I will continue to work all the marketing angles to hopefully kick this off with success.I am certainly intending this to be an annual event. :usa: Tom
