Break in period on a 78 Liquifire

Hello all I have recently re-builld the top end of my 78 liquifire. How do I break it in it starts right up runs and idles fine but I don't know what to do from here.

I would mix the fuel at 40 to 1 for the first tank-full, then 50 to 1. Vary the throttle but don't run "wide open"for too long. Occasional bursts is fine. Check your plugs for the proper color, cardboard-brown.

THX I just finished today going to try it tomorrow hope all goes well. I only need to do this for the first tank than after that its far game? Should I re- torque the head at any point.

Before you go out, warm up the engine, then let it cool, retorque. Repeat a sceond time. One tank of 40 to 1 is all that is needed.
