Oh my gosh, I've never seen a "homemade" storage box before. Actually looks like someone did a great job.

Re: Ok, Got to get started on this one to........
Couple years ago the guy bought an old tractor and wanted to put it in the garage and there wasn't room so he figured he didn't ride the sled that much anymore and didn't really know what he had so it got shoved outside and they had a bad windstorm "and it yanked the hood off and threw it about 35 or 40 feet into a tree and busted it in about 16 pcs" is what he said . He never did say and i didn't think to ask what happened to the seat but goin back that way in a couple weeks and i'm gonna stop and ask about it. Going to start on it in a few days so I can get my parts list made out so I can get an idea what I'm gonna be spending

My guess is you already have a good idea of what you will be spending. As one of the guys with 340/s project(s), take your anticipated number and double it. That will be closer...Deere used a lot of unobtainium in that sled. Nice find.

That's what DA tells me , it's not a cheap or easy build but my scorpion wasn't either . I had to do some searchin for some parts for it to but thats cool, thats what makes it fun . And I'm pretty excited about it.
