I have herd of guys mostly for the Yamaha's using the next over size of ring and filing them x amount to fit the smaller piston. It could be an option for rings for the +.010 or +.030 pistons if they were made.

I don't know if this helps or not but a old parts catalog I have shows the early 70's Arctic Cat Lynx and Panther ran a 292 Kawasaki engine. The needle cage bearing used in that engine is a 19mm I.D. x 23mm O.D. x 24mm length.

Troy, Those are just about as hard to come by, a few years ago I was trying to get someone to send me a bad piston so I could compare it to a Dator piston & I can't even get the Kawi boys to turn loose of those.

Ok so I am most likely going to have a batch of std. bore dator pistons made this year sometime. I am not sure when yet though. Is anyone inrested in complete kits gastkets crank seals everything to be sold as a package deal similar to wisecos top end kits with matched pistons? I am also intrested in doing the other race sled pistons as well I have a 295/S motor i can steal a piston from, but i dont have a 340/S motor. As of now they will be wiseco pistons but i still have a couple more people to talk to. With the crank seals i was only able to find a skidoo seal that was a single lip, if anyone knows where i can find a dual lip seal let me know. Thanks Brad Wheelock

Brad, Jerome can get the double liped seals.. Unless things have changed I believe you can only get Std, 0.020 & 0.040 over sized from Wiseco, Also I would Hope they are working off of a set of rings that will be available for years Because they also would fit other brands.. also if possible it would be nice to have those piston kits to include wrist pin bearings, wrist pins & piston pin clips..
I'm in for a couple of sets of each, 295/S, 340/S & 5 - Dator std. pistons. ( being I sent one std. Dator Piston to someone to look at & never got it back.. )

Thanks for Larrys phone info

Talked to Larry and he will check with Wiesco on minimum order and cost. We would be talking about standard pistons only. Please dont respond about 340/s or 295/s or any other type pistons at this time as this topic needs to stay focused. Bearings you may be on your own or perhaps a place like Hotrods would be an option. Pistons are not cheap so dont expect any clearance sales. No markup from me for the guys that commit to order and willing to prepay. If for some reason we cant fill the order than the rest might be financed by me and sold with heavy markup at latter date. <you play, you pay plan>.

Dont mean to step on anybodies toes here but if anybody has an alternative plan lets hear it and make a solid commitment. Dators are not cheap so dont expect these pistons to be. I believe the last order was $100 per piston.

Post here if your in or you can email me at comforthomes@frontiernet.net

Thank You
