Just completed the deal on the 3 cylinder 1980 Liquifire, pretty sure the fabrication was completed at Polaris after the sale...certain that it was not a JD project. Very well done, pipes are pure art! Understand it is very fast. My opinion mirrors Rich's, customization is a form of flattery....IE Harley ect. I think the cyclone is drop dead stunning, workmanship is a #10, and the 700 ZR happens to be my favorite engine from Cat.....tons of power and torq, light weight, easy to work on, fast and reliable when modified. That sled is very well done and a compliment to the brand. Original is still pure and authentic and preserves the design and history....a place for both to create excitment in our sport. Best JRC ETD

That is one cool project!

The mental image it brings to me is this:

An attractive, slightly intoxicated young women approaches you in a bar, lifts her sweater to reveal a set of 44DDs! You, totally taken aback, suck in your breath, and stand there in shock. While you have no idea what you would do with all that, you can't deny it looks very impressive. Same with this sled.

400brian - I'd start by picking my jaw up off the floor(if not my whole body) as that stuff just does not happen to me...but all my friends it does.

I'd write a book on this post telling you about my friends trip to Door County with his wife and daughter and the trip to the hot tub....
