Need some parts for my 295/s

Post by Kurts »

Looking to fix up a couple of shoddy areas on my 295, the thing needs pistons, so I have the original motor set aside until some stuff comes up, and I have a points ignition kec340 in it right now.

I'm looking for:
1. solid 102c that doesn't need rebuilt, or a good fixed face.
2. Tail light AM53205, prefer an NOS one.
3. Set of M weights AM53406, preferably good used
4. Set of P weights AM53736, preferably used.
5. 8000 RPM Tach AM52346
6. 34* Secondary Cam M64608
7. 27* Secondary Cam
8. Track Driveshaft M64408, mine got chewed up by a bad bearing, I welded it up and machined it, but I'd like a legit one.
9. Speedometer drive AM52344
10. Speedo drive key M63306 and M64142
11. Exhaust springs M63408 x5 old used rusty ones will work.

Most of the stuff doesn't need to be super nice, I'm not restoring this sled, just making it solid so I can enjoy it.
Kurt.

Thanks Matt. Is it the whole thing, or just the lens? My housing is shot. and the lens is broke.

It comes from Deere as a complete assembly. They cost something like $20.

Speedo key and drive assy are pretty much univeral parts.

Most all brands of sleds used the same 10:1 drive adapter.

Hey guys,
Still looking for a few things.

Speedo drive
Track Drive Shaft
Weights.

I could possibly use a mag side carb, if the price is right. I'm just a poor college student. Mine broke a float tower off, i welded it up and re machined it, but it's not quite right.

was digging through stuff today , and thought of your post , i found a drive shaft ,front axle ,what ever a fellow calls it , i couldn't find an m64408 in any of my parts books ? maybe that is an assembly part number or maybe you need a different part all together that said i found a good usable [legit] 64215 with a usable driver cog and an idler not sure the 295 used the idler but its included , i think it was from a 74 x8 but not positive. seems as though all midmounts used this same part exept the 600 id take $25.00 plus shipping if it would help

Kurt, my parts book shows the drive shaft for a SLIDE suspension is part m64430. (Track drive). It is the same as the JDX series as well with the same track. I have one also but it is the same as Wade's. thanks, Tom
Drive shafts are different for bogie vs slide. If you have scrap yard close it may be a thought)
