did a little bush whacking this weekend and picked up a another 76 lf for a parts sled as rough as it looks, speedo shows 740 miles, surprisingly there are quite a bit of usable parts on it i am planning on the dator clone, they guy said that "it ran when parked" but you know how that goes, so after bringing it home i took the air box off to make sure it didn't have any mice nest ect... in it, pulled the plugs and had good spark, put a little fuel in the carbs and she fired right up and ran for a few seconds, so i pulled the motor out to put in the garage till i get time to tear it down and give it a full rebuild, i also started tearing it down and using parts to put on the clone, spent most of the day putting a rolling chassis together. while i was @ the guys place he said he had a grass drag rear suspension he said he wasn't sue what it fit but i figured i would check it out, from what the guy said it is a Kalamazoo grass drag skid, i noticed that it is missing the rear arm assembly, and what it came outta i have no idea but i figured it was worth picking up because i have never seen another before, all and all it was a fun weekend of bush whacking'

Re: bush whackin' weekend
Nice find on the skid kid! I had two of the Michigan made skids back in the 70's. Looks like all you are missing are two shocks. Best drag suspension back then in my opinion. I think mine were a earlyer version from Belmont Eng.

That skid looks to be in realitively good shape.
Nice find!
