I am not one to paint sleds. I have done full restos and they take months.
The hood on this Z is just the way I bought it. It had been rolled, broken badly and repaired the same way, badly.
Repo hoods are $400.00. Decals another $100. So I just repaired the hinge.
Good news is the CC hood is perfect. Not even broken on the radiator fins which is very common.

Question... What has 100 different part numbers and 289 seperate pieces?
Answer... The rear suspension of a 79 CC Cat.
And I have reassembled very one of them.
The rear skid is attached to tunnel with no less than 12 bolts. Yep, that is 6 on each side.
A very complicated set up but a proven winner as we witnessed in person last January.
This machine will be at the Milbank Show in three weeks, running and complete.
