Also, Kenny, since you were interested in that trailer I'll tell you a sad story real quick.
When Deere left the snowmobile biz, we had two trailers left over. One of these trailers was tipped up against the warehouse wall and there it sat, year after year.
Now the sad part. Sometime about 10 years ago, in my never ending quest for more inside storage for my parts inventory the trailer was "temporarily" moved outside and...you guessed it, it's still outside. What a mistake that was. A brand new JD sled trailer is now weather beaten and aged. We even had the title for it in my dad's desk, so far as I know it's still there. The other trailer is still around here too I think but can't think of just where right now.
Sure wished I had made sure it stayed inside so someone could have added it to their collection.

Re: Two sleds & a JD trailer for sale in the Green magizine
I have seen the ad in the Green Magazine...I am not as seasoned as most on this forum, so I cannot say what the sleds or trailer are worth. I can look them up and email (or post if forum rules allow) the info if you guys would like.
As far as the magazine is concerned...I can't really blame the guys at the Green Magazine for wanting to keep it strickly John Deere related. There has to be a hard line somewhere on what is allowed and not allowed.
As far as having articles on Deere sleds, I for one would like to see more of them myself. I have come across a few here and there over the years...but would like to see more.
Greg, I would like to extend a thank you to you and all the other writers at the Green Magazine. You all do a wonderful job. I am a fan of all things John Deere and I always look forward to each issue. That being said, maybe you guys could convice one of the experts from this site to write a 'feature' article on sleds...maybe a two parter.
