Todd, which sachs motors used these. The old singles I have dealt with used kind of a bell shaped puller you threaded on the crank and then pressed against the crank end.

Matt,
I was having the same problem...bolt heads too small, washers bending, etc. :think: , but just yesterday I had special spacers made for the 6mm bolts that are thicker than washers (1/4"+), made from 4140, have a close tolerance fit to the bolt, and slide 1/2 inch into my puller slots (sort of a stepped washer)...it worked perfectly! :dance:

Scott I am guilty of typing before I am thinking again.

Yes, the bell threads on the the flywheel and the bolt presses on the crankend.

The big bolt I was thinking of is for pulling the clutches. I think it is 7/8".
