theres no key switch but an electrical switch i checked that its fine

The whole governor shaft (#80 in the diagram) is covered in rust and the bottom of solid state iginition (# 100 in diagram) was covered in rust but i cleaned most of it off how clean does the governor shaft need to be?

If I remember right the "governer shaft", i think it is generally called the flywheel (at least that is what I call it), has a magnet or metal piece in it somewhere along the outside of it. If the ignition is not tightened then when the flywheel spins, by hand, around it should pull the ignition to the flywheel. If that doesn't happen then it probably isn't clean enough. I hope that makes sense. It is still posible that there is a grounding issue with the ignition.

i replaced the solid state ignition 2day and bam it fired right back up but after a little bit of test driving it cut out and now i have no spark what could cause this?

I had the same thing happen to my snowblower with a similar engine, and I haven't fixed it yet but I think that it is a grounding wire that came off. Check all of them again. I wouldn't think that your ignition coil went bad after just a couple of times. Check your plug make sure it's OK.

funny story true story on the solid state ignition a bolt came loose and poped off and the whole bran new ignition was shreaded by the fly wheel so looks like itl be another 60 bucks
