Im not sure of the years or models, but i think some are the 447s(?),some are nice,some are just parts sleds.

I am looking for a 73 RTX 440. with the speedo in the handle bars. i really like these sleds and am hoping to have one for this winter. probly wont be able to insure it cuz im putting the spitfire on the road but it will still be good to have. probly be the first one in my town. i will probly put an advertisment out localy to you never no there could be one sitting in a barn somewere right here in town.

Back in 1973 i was only 12 years old and went sledding with my dad to Lake Phalen in St.Paul. The sled i was driving <69 Rupp sno-sport> blew a belt. My dad told me he was going to the hardware store to get me a new belt and to stay with his sled so nobody messed with it . He told me to stay off his sled but when his tail lights disappeared over the horizion i fired it up and went racing other riders across the lake. Cops clocked me at 84 MPH on the 447 RTX. My Dad just shook his head and led me away from the cops . Just said < Boy,, Your going to get yourself killed driving like that >. He still has that 447 along with an RT 300 i found him.

hey 400brain, i dodnt know where you live but my uncle has one that looks brand new he wants to get rid of. 20 miles east of lansing,michigan. he also has a front engine skiroule that is silver in color he wants to get rid of...........

If you scroll down a few topics, you'll see a Skiroule update, i purchased a '73 RTX 440 in late August. Other than that, my wife and I have agreed that I don't need any more sleds right now

Rich, did you see the parts on ebay or Irondogs? I'm betting Irondogs.
I'm looking for a good snowflap.

If I had a 295S 0r 340S, I sure as heck wouldn't be thinking of selling it

I'm a pack rat. I'm working on getting enough stuff that when I'm gone, the wife will have to have a 2 day auction.
