WANTED: 1982 Sprintfire open hood

Yes the hoods are different. They are all hand laid fiberglass. I have never tried to put a snowfire hood on a sprintfire but I am thinking it would not fit right ?

Yes Den I am serious. I purchased number 2(for me ) 82' sprintfire and will need a hood.

And Robb I agree completely NOT to repop these hoods. They are out there just waiting to be found... now just to hunt a few down

It would be cool and suck at the same time.

These are probably going to sound like silly questions to you guys who know these sleds better than myself, as i have never really gotten into the DD sleds, but are the 83 hoods hand laid as well? I'm betting not due to the higher production numbers (but then again, all of the 78 LF hoods were hand laid), but if they are, would it be possible to modify one very carefully into a 82 hood?
