New Snowmobile Toys

I talked to the guy selling these, about the fact that they used the wrong windshield and snowflap. He told me that their "expert" OKed these items. IMHO, they are dead wrong!
As far as I'm concerned, it queers the whole model. I still have a '72 Pop bought new.

Yup, "72s have painted fuel tanks ( green ).

400Brian,

You'd have thought they would've checked into this stuff a little more......

Pretty sure that neither handlebar pads or backrest kits were available for the '72 model year either.

Most of this stuff can be found in old JD literature. Heck, they should have taken a closer look at the JD ad used at the begining of their brochure. Also, I'm curious as to who their alleged "expert" was.

That was what struck me as so strange, the brochure photo is right there on their ad.

I wondered about the pad and backrest as well, but there were so many other things wrong that I was sure about, that I didn't bring that up.

He told me that they originally had the model like I suggested, but their "expert" had them change it to as it now appears.

I don't get it, they got the rear grab bar right, how can you screw up the windshield?

Has anyone ever seen a snowflap like the one they have on the model?

I'm going to scrap the idea of a store. I haven't been able to get it working on my own, and will not be able to make enough on the toys to have it done for me.

I can still place an order for these. If anyone wants to get them through me, e-mail me: jdsleds66@nac.net.

Prices:
Model 400: $52.50
Model 500: $52.50
Combo set with both, also includes covers: $109.20
Model 400 Gold: $125
Model 500 Gold: $125

Shipping is additional. Please send your address in the e-mail so I can calculate.
