Ok I see your point JDT. I did have some much needed help sliding the cylinders back on. The pto side is running hot and lean after a very short test run. Mag side looks beauty. Could that pto head be warped? I'll tear it down to clean and get at them seals but maybe i should replace that head too?

You will have to lay a straight edge across the head to check it. Check it in several places.

To do the seals just tip the engine over and pull the bottom off. You wont need to tear it completely apart.

You will need a puller to remove the clutch and the flywheel.
