I'm ahead of Loren on the hat idea.

I have found myself a black JD cap ( to go with the X8 ) and have hinted at a black JD stocking cap to cover the helmet hair at the pit stops, ( from Santa Claus )

:D

What are the rest of you thinking?

I just sent my form & money, and Rainville got rooms for us. Maybe we should make a name tag that also has our message board name?

jdmatt..........all RIDE WITH THE CHAMPS participants get a souviner bib at registration and the gals write your names on them to act as nametags for the day. You could ask them to add the message board name if you want when you are registering.

These bibs are worn all day as there are a lot of photos taken at pit stops and at the lunch at Bosacki's. It helps us promote the Hall of Fame Ride and is good for our sponsor.........and you know how important that is.

These bibs usually go home after the autograph session at the banquet full of the autographs of the Hall of Famers from this year and past years too that we have at the tables.

Photos of what your bibs will look like are on the web site RIDE WITH THE CHAMPS page.

So you really do not need name tags.......see you in February

Hey Guys, and Loren too!

I sent in my payment, looking forward to meeting Jon and Rich in person, not to mention all other guys off the board like Brian, etc.

Matt and I with our significant others will be staying at the Rustic Manor, just down the road from the HOF. I think I got the last two rooms though.

So far the plan is to build a custom 2-up set from a Kawi Invader seat to fit my original 78 CC. My girlfriend has never driven a sled, but loves to ride. She doesn't want the Ride with the Champs to be her first riding experience, and I want to bring a racer with me instead of a LF or Cyclone. If we do get some darn snow in NY, I do have a 78 Spitfire for her to learn on. I am hoping I can talk her into driving her own sled so I can cruise on my CC with a one up seat.

Depending on when and where I meet up with Matt, we should be in St. Germain sometime Weds afternoon. It would be great to meet up with folks from the page or ETD that night. Jon, anything in the works for a 'warm up' party?

See you all then,

Rich,

Regarding: "I am also planning a Deere display at "Memories at the Mile" and it will be part of that vintage show."

Where and when is this taking place? Are you looking for additional JD sleds to include in your display?

Jon's going to pull the 340S off the wall of his living room just to mess with our heads.

PS. with twin Mikunis, that means you have twice the amount of problems to deal with.

Paul,

I have a double room reserved at the Eagle River Inn.

If you can tolerate some snoring, you're welcome to the other bunk.

I don't figure to spend much time in the room other than sleeping.
