The Trail and Sport pipe's are identical and have the same P/N. They are tuned for 42 hp at around 6,500 - 7,000 rpm +/-. The LF pipe, marked with an L as you said, is tuned for 65 hp at about 8,000 rpm +/-. Rich can probably give you more exact info, but this gives you a good idea.
If you want to run more than the Sport's 42, maybe more like 50'ish with dual carbs, I would try the LF pipe and clutch it accordingly.
