Hi Guys,
The hood are going to be gel coated about the same color as the NOS original that was the pattern for the mold. That is a medium grayish color. The hood will need paint and do not include a hinge or any hardware.
Thanks,
-Joe

Yes they are, but I only get them made in small batches. Let me know if you are interested, as I have one standing order already.

Re: Reproduction Dator-Lite Hoods
Hi,
The factory 1976 production Dator hoods were basically a Liquifire/Cyclone type hood that had a hole cut in it and a Liquidator hood scoup bonded into it from the underside. The total weight was about 30 lbs.
The "77 Up-Dator" hoods were one piece and much thinner than the regular hoods and only weigh about 10 lbs. My reproduction hoods had the mold lifted from an NOS Dator-Lite hood, but are a few pounds heavier for structural reasons.
I hope this answers your questions...

Re: Reproduction Dator-Lite Hoods
Hey Joe,
I was wondering if you have any Dator Lite hoods for sale. My original is pretty hashed and I was hoping to maybe get one from you someday. How much are they by the way?
Thanks,
Brian
P.S. you have mail
