if i remember right the liquifire was about 63 hp and the invader was around 68 hp. timing, heads and exhaust were the major differences. you can change the heads and the timing, i don't know how much difference in the exhaust though. with the heads, timing,polaris secondaryd and a 108 we found the liquifire to be about 6 to 8 sled lengths faster than a stock one back in the 80's. it didn't matter if it was our 80 or the 84. we always beat my friends 81 hands down. for me and my brother (80 was mine) it was who ever got the jump off the line would win. The problem with the cat secondary was we couldn't get the belt to line up. with time i'm sure it could be made to work but the polaris is a lot easier. either one is for a 1" shaft so you need a shim made or a new jack shaft.
