Update
We have got the OK from the Police and DNR: If you are bringing a sled to display, and want to take it for a spin, but do not want to purchase WI registration for it, we will have a course set up on the river to cruise around on. If you wish to leave the course, you will need the proper registration.

Ron,

You had the idea to have a Deere sled reunion show in Horicon about 10 years ago, so you better show up!

Ok, since I now just remembered that you are about a foot taller than I am, I will kindly suggest you could make an appearance if you would like too... Really though, I hope you could make either the Horicon Show and Ride, or the Vintage Challenge in St. Germain. Instal the "dealer optional" 5 gallon tank in your 295/s and ride that baby.

Hope to see you then,
-Joe

After visiting with Horicon Joe on the phone the other night, I plan on coming to the Horicon Deere Reunion with the #42 I-500 Liquidator along with stories from the Independent Racers point of view. Working on an 82 Liquifire for the ride at Horicon and HOF. Hope to meet drivers and mechanics that I raced against years ago. I have hoped that someone would put together a reunion. Now is my chance to go and enjoy....

Matt, Joe, and JD Sled Riders:

I have been involved organizing and working these kinds of events over the years. I know how much effort it takes to put on a successful show. I am looking forward to meeting those of you who are so supportive to the heritage of the Deere Snowmobile and sport of snowmobiling in general. One last thing, hope you plan on going to Office Max and buying Name Tags. It has been a long time since I have crossed paths with all of you.

The problem with the name tags is that we'll all write "Joe Rainville" on them! :lol22:

Norton,

Glad to hear you are coming, looking forward to hearing your stories from your racing days. This Horicon Show should be a great time, even if Lindner shows up.

Brian,

Dragging my "good name" further in the mud will result in a sevier beating from Cari Deerest... with photos to commemorate the event, LOL!

See you guys there!
