Waconia Anyone?

This year i have decided not to show but to ride and race . Always wanted to do the trail ride and this year is the year. Look for Elvira and the Liquifires and i will be close by. Plan on racing the 340/s and the 77 Liquifire this year.

Its always a good bet that the fat kid knows where all the good food places are. Is this what you 2 knuckleheads are telling me. :lol22:

I will be there Saturday mourning in the swap area. White 95 Taurus wagon, with older 2 place trailer. I will have a 77 El Tigre' set up for drag racing, in fact the sled will be raced in a grudge match Saturday afternoon, against a 75 Yamaha GPX, after the radar runs, and the regular drags on sunday. I will also be at the banquet with my wife.

I will be taking possesion of a 1980 Jd Liqufire, at Waconia, and am excited to get it. I am new to your site, and John Deere Snowmobiles, and I hope you will stop by, see my new to me JD, and tell me as much about your experiences with JD sleds, that your willing to share.

I have alot of knowledge in Arctic Cat, Moto Ski, Skiroule, Sno Jet, and Ski Doo.

Assuming my pal Swede can help me get the Walbro issue figured out on my 300, my friend Tony will be riding it in the trail ride and I will be on my '73 Ski Doo oly.

I will have ERIC R in marker on duct tape on back of my jacket and on my front pocket.

I have been considereing going on Saturday. I would like to look over the swap meet. Trouble is Money is real tight and if I go I wont have much for spending.

On the other hand maybe that is a good thing.

Well, I have six sleds ready for Waconia. Three Deere's, one Yamaha, one Polaris, and one Scorpion. Wouldn't you know it, I've got alot of crap to finish up before everyone comes down tonight and I took each sled for a ride down the groomed trails to make sure it was up to snuff and I run out of gas with one of them three miles down the road. Needless to say, I got my jogging in for 2009. Well, gotta wipe the sweat off my forehead and finish up. See you tomorrow.

As it turns out I will not be attending Waconia as I have to work both Saturday and Sunday. It is my turn in the rotation and there was nobody willing to trade with me.

I will however be attending the Scorpion next weekend in Crosby MN.

Well, I'm finally ready to go all packed up for the morning. Bringing the 295/s, Dator, Liquifire and a Sno Jet. I think its going to be a great weekend!
