She be mad.
Yea, I was trying to turn around, bumped the throttle a little to spin the track and loop it around, which worked until the track caught a patch of snow, and tipped the JDX over just enough to dump her on the ice.

She actually wasn't mad though!

Snow!

Here is my take on the snow conditions. Northern, MN still has plenty of snow even though there were 3-4 days of 37 degree temps and plenty of rain to go along with it. The groomed trails are still very good. The lakes plain and simply suck. I rode them last night and this morning. They are all slush, and deep slush with spots of free standing water. But this is northern, MN........... Now, today I actually drove into north central Wisconsin because I was trading in my snowmobile trailer for a newer one and north central Wisconsin hasn't fared as well as northern, MN. All the trails were dirt & mud that I saw. I stopped at a gas station to fill up and when I was there, a member of a local snowmobile club stopped in an posted a "Trails Closed" sign at the convenience store. I asked him about the trails. He said they are closed and mainly have no snow cover but was hoping for some more snow. I passed plenty of lakes on my trip today and the lakes looked to be the same as in northern, MN. A lot of slush and free standing water. The temps are supposed to fall here in the next several days and I think they will actually make the lake conditions even worse. I'm not trying to be a downer here but I want to portray an accurate picture of what the conditions are currently. We can hope for snow but nothing is in the forecast for the next 10 days. Plans will have to be adjusted accordingly.

Looks like Michigan may be a good option. Trails are in good shape arond the Iron wood/county area. Then the farther you go north the better they get! Plans for this coming weekend may be changing according to trail conditions... :sled:

Hey Eric-

Looks like some snow in the forecast...we might be okay!? Accuweather.com said they should have about another 2.5 inches of snow by Thursday night? I know that is not tons but it would be better...snowtracks.com said groomers were out on the 13th.... :letitsnow: :thinksnow: :sled:
