proper belt for 1982 liquifire w/ comet 108c?

can you clarify why the dayco HPx5012 wont fit? dimensions seem to be just the same as the m69170:

Length: 46-7/16"
Width: 1-3/8"


what else is there? (i admittedly dont know a lot about belts so....please tell!)
