I looked on MFG and all I found was Weisco. Also do you mind going into more detail on the Acid bath because I can afford to ruin my cylinders. Thanks

The acid wont hurt the chrome lining when being used for less than 5 minutes. Pour some Muriatic Acid into a container that you can place a paint brush in and apply the acid to every inch of the chrome lining, swirl the brush around in the cylinder till you start to see a white residue form, once you see the residue keep swirling the brush around for another minute, wipe out the residue on a towel, rinse in hot water and repeat. If you are not going to use the cylinders for some time, I would spray some type of rust preventative in them, WD-40 or motor oil. Not that difficult. Just remember not to inhale this stuff and wear gloves. The finished product will leave the chrome a grayish-white color.

Bob-

You better check every little nick and ding on the chrome, any missing and the rings will catch it and just make the problems worse, especially around the ports. If you have lines in the cylinders that the acid wont remove, in my opinion you are done and the jugs are bad. Reason for this is that any line left behind like a gouge will cause a spot where the ring will not seat and you will lose compression.

Ok Paul thank you so much. My dads a little wary about me using the acid but as long as I don't put it in the Septic tank he will be happy.

Also I thought those gray lines were bad? Also can these be honed or is bad to? I might be back to sending you the jugs and heads out. Also on the PN do I order one of each part number or just two of the first ones. I am pumped I hope this is it.

Bob I dont think this is a remedy to all of your problems.

According to your video's to be honest, you have more than just piston/cylinder problems. I dont know or understand what you want to do..your spinning your wheels and going nowhere.

I never said anything about gray lines. YOU DONT WANT ANY LINES, YOU WANT A CLEAN CYLINDER.

I have all new gaskets and seals and am going to take my time making sure it all goes back the right way. I am going to make all the surfaces flat and make sure it seals correctly. I also need to get the suspension fixed. I want to get the motor nice and solid and work out all my carburetor issues. I know I am just talking in circles I just really want to ride this this season but I know it ain't gonna happen.
