Yes, that was the problem last time, and as I recall, you have to be a licensed non-profit for a number of years before you can legally hold a raffle. The HOF wasn't much interested in letting us use their license the last time, I don't know what the problem was. I believe the options are: donate the sled to the HOF and sell their raffle tickets, or do it all ourselves, ( hooking up with an org with a license like we did last time ) and donating the $$ to whoever we wish, in any amounts we wish.WinnipegStPaul9 wrote:Most states today require a "license" to hold a raffle.
