I would like some info on the swap meet. Inside or outside? Is food provided? May we bring tents, grills, coolers? Might be selling all my JD stuff there. 72 400(halfway restored) Professionally painted, Seat professionally redone, new decals, new driveshaft, jackshaft, and rear idler bearings. NOS JD gas gauge in wrapper. 2 Jd belts. Was running and driving b4 I took it apart. Electric start. Everything is there, just needs to be finished. Have title card as well. Jdx8 hood in good shape. JD suits, helmets and manual. Patches in origional 1972 packaging. Even have a dummy with one of the suits and helmet on! Everything in very good shape. Bought a lot off e-bay in excellent cond. Even have a single place sled trailer I will sell with sled or after sled is sold- was told its a Spartan-tilts and swivels in the front, so u can drive sled on the back and swing the trailer and drive sled right off the front(no lifting). Has newer wheels, tires, lights and wiring. Only live a half hour from this show so Im looking forward to it! Thanks guys!

There will be inside and outside swap. Inside for smaller stuff. Sounds like you would be outside. There will be food available.
They also are allowing camping on the grounds.
Look forward to seeing you there........

The old grass dragger sled built by Deere engineer Lee Hardesty is one step closer to making the Horicon show, via Churubusco, IN.

I have never heard a Kioritz engine sound like this one, a chainsaw on steroids!

The food was good but the service was AWESOME hence the $100.00 tip we left for the waitress. We told her to thank Horicon Joe, not us.

I have walked by this sled in my garage about 10 times and EVERYTIME I marvel at the engineering genius of Lee Hardesty. This thing appears to be an ordinary sled but trust me it's extremely extraordinary. I picture Lee sitting down by the sled and thinking about ways to decrease friction, add power and making this one bad axe sled.

Thanks for letting my garage be a part of the history of this sled.

340/S and Cross Country are all cleaned up and will be loaded this morning. I'll be arriving in Horicon next Thursday about noonish. Can't wait to see all the products on display. Going to be a once in a lifetime show.

Anyone coming to Horicon looking for a repro Dator hood?

I've got several in my trailer that could use a home.

Have any 340s repro stuff? If not I guess a Dator hood would work. I'll put it on the CC
