With the rear skid in. There isn't a whole lot of adjustment for more ski pressure on the ice. I"ve seen many guys do Many different things. I wanted to keep it simple as possible. So I choose to use 2 simple hose clamps. Allows me to adjust really easy and fast for different track conditions.
I have it adjusted to where I think it should be. Wont know until I get some seat time on the ice. Then will adjust from there.

Got the front skis, 10in competition carbides, and shocks all mounted. She sits really low in the front.

Re: Twin Oval Build
The engine was absolutely trashed. Not much I could use. only thing I kept was the lower case, and tins. Brian Brown met up with me at A1 with another engine to use for parts as well .
Got new Gaskets, and pistons from Matt at newbreed. With a lot of clean up in the sonic cleaner, and a bit of blasting, it is coming back together really well. New rules in bevra allow internal engine mods. Did a bit of porting. Now just waiting for the heads to come back from the machine shop.
Notice the intake was ported out to match the giant VM-38 Carb boot. The thing really is a giant compared to the little vm34 that came factory. Going to be interesting getting the carb dialed in once its all running. hoping this little 340 takes it well with the other porting that has been done. Also advanced the timing just a bit. lots of test and tune soon to come.
