HAHAHAHA Yes I am. I agree I am over my head on this but I like the challenge. I also hate getting charity. So Brian I will pay for everything that I get. Robtan88 Thanks again on those halves not here yet but next week they should defiantly be here.

That is an admirable quality Bob, on the other hand, I love charity. So if anyone wants to give me parts, or even whole sleds, I would gladly accept them.

Bob

Here is another way to look at it. They say there is more happiness in giving than in recieving. Now, by you not recieving, you are denying a member of this board from giving, therefore taking away there happiness. Do you really want to make these guys unhappy. Go ahead Bob, take there parts, make them happy. Just my 2 cents.

I know what you mean. I would also take a free sled. The main thing holding me back is my parents. They don't see the need for me to spend all this money on a 30 year old sled. Also I just feel weird taking something for free when I do have the money. I don't want to offend anyone but if they want to give I shall receive.

Bob did you see the rebuilt 440 engine on E-bay for $150? It has your name written all over it. Drop in and go for less money that you will spend on parts for yours.

Bob, don't let your dad see this, but lets say he's been married to you Mom for 20+ years, ask him why you can't spend any money on a 30 year old sled when he keeps spending money on your mom?? :lol22: You better be close to the door when you ask him that though

Nice $25 to ship it also. I don't know would you recommend I go through it if I got it or what? I will be listing stuff on Feebay to sell and also getting rid of some other parts so I might be able to scrape some cash together. Also Kenny it has been like 20 something years. Damn he has a reserve on it. Probably $100

Bob,

Do not run any 30 year old sled motor with out replacing the crank seals. Even NOS motors need new seals since even the un-used rubber seal take a 'set' and won't hold pressure.

Tell you what Bob, You buy this engine, I'll pick it up from the guy, tear it down just to make sure that it is what the guy says it is, I'll put new gaskets in it & seals, ck the crank, If it needs work I'll send it to JRome, If it has to go to him I'll even pick that up..... ( I'm hoping JRome might cut me a deal for doing this for you) I'll reassemble it & make sure it starts, & then send it to you my Christmas present to you.. As long as I'm not held to any time line just in case any outside work has to be done..

Bob don't be concerned about the reserve, use the buy it now. It is the third bargain of a lifetime for you and you can not afford to pass it up.

And you better send Kenny a fruit basket for Christmas!
