Danzig,

Have you considered just getting a Wisconsin registation? Check out the WI DNR website. You don't have to be a Wisconsin resident to get them. I live in Minnesota and only register (and ride) all my sleds in Wisc. As I recall, they cost approx. $30-40 and are good for two years. Probably don't need all of that, but might eliminate a lot of hassle.

Also, try contacting Loren at HOF, he was hoping to get someone that could sell trail stickers at the event.

It'll be great to finally meet all you guys.

Think snow!

It sounds to me like we are likely going to go over 30 JD entrants in the JRC group.
Should we tear Jon in half?

Thanks Jim, I though you had to be a resident. I think I am going to go this route as it is much cheaper and easier then doing the PA paperwork.

Hey Jon,

WOW, Roger Jansen too?! SWEEEEET! This is like having all your hero's show up in one place. I might just need a shot of JD (Jack Daniels) so I don't turn into a babbling idiot at the reception. Yikes.

Chuck: Register buddie! Who else would you need to have show up to inspire you? Other than John Deere himself, I think we have the sled team pretty well covered. This of this: Group photo with ETD: YaHOOOO!

See you guys there!

PS: Jon and Rich: I will actually have some vintage oval under my belt before the HOF show. The Waters Boy broke his wrist in about 100 places, (OK, only 11) and he needs me to race his his warmed up 80 LF at a few races this winter. (Phase 1 initiated)

As the leader of the "Jon Carlson group" have you decided on our ride route yet?
St Germain to Minocgua for fish and back?

Brian.....thought we might head west towards ST.Paul, actually Loren has a route for us, sounds very nice and well groomed! Time is approaching and I've got some sleds get ready. Bob found the Minneapolis Star and Tribune full page ad on Brians win he is bringing, and I am starting work on the intro video.....should be fun! Don't forget Wednesday night....Best Jon, also Deere IFS intro that night!

Jon....On our "ride to St. Paul" as you mention above, are you leading us out from the ER Inn or the HOF? Somewhere it seems I have heard both ways???? Loren tells me that "trailer parking is a mess at the ER Inn" and that there is plently of parking room at HOF. I am sure the JD group can do it either way, just let us know the plan....when you get it fixed....so we know where to park trucks with trailers...or maybe try to find a place to park them (?)....have sleds unloaded, started and warmed up..ready to ride....etc. Thanks!!!........Guy

Guy.....I'm assuming the HOF, and am dropping a 28' trailer there with the sleds I'm hauling, I'm sure Loren can handle us.....also wanted some of the sleds available for Wednesday night.....I will first check with Loren and respond back to all on the site....coffee early AM at the ER Inn, drive trucks over to the HOF and ride out from there.......only 5 hours to St Paul averaging 70mph.....just kidding, we'll ride peacefully! Last weeks USCC race the winner on a REV averaged 86 MPH, ditch, woods, creek bottom, down to the dirt! Boy's that flat flying in anyones book! Best Jon

Same thought here Jon. Paul and I are staying at the ER Inn. We plan to be at the HOF Wed. nite, and if we can drop the trailers there it would be great. Loren's call.

Jon or anyone:

What kinda setup do the gas stations have out there? I have been told that they have pre-mix in the ground.

Is there Shells and BP's on the trail?

I've bought premix at the pump for the boat. Doubt I would for the sled.
First off, oil injection has been in use for over 20 years, few sleds on the trail need premix. If they have premix in the winter at the pump, how fresh is it?
Also, if you go by the book, we should be running premium.
