what was the high torque gear set uesd for?? . i found one for my 83 LF for 30$ it is new . is that a good price??. thanks dan

the two sprockets all most look the same they are both small and i don't know what pitch the new chain is . but if i was going to do some hill climbing would this help?? and i do not have the TR 800 clutch. it's 108c cat clutch thanks dan

pic one is a 19 tooth and the other is a 20 tooth.

Hey Guys,

I have a few "Hi-Alt" kits for the 82-84 Deere's with the TR-800. Aside from the high alt calibration parts for the drive clutch, (such as a red spring, ramps and rollers), it also include a gear change.

The kit has both the 19 and 20 tooth top gear, and the 66 pitch (I think) chain. So, Deere had included those chains and gears as part of their regular hi alt kits.

Just thought you might like to know!
