hey guys
i have a 76 liquifire with the 440 kioritz engine in it and the rod bearing went on it and u cant get the parts i need but i have a good crank out of a 340 liquifire with the kioritz engine in it so wat im wondering is if the 340 and 440 crank shafts are the same? same stroke leingth bearings and all that other stuff

The upper connecting rod bearing is replaceable, available thru most vendors. If the lower bearing is bad, you need to have the crankshaft rebuilt by places like Central Snowmobile or Image and a few others.

Hey Guys,

I agree with Harley, you should be able to get your crank rebuilt. But, a 340 Liquifire is the same exact crank as a 440 LF from 76-78. Also, the 340/22 (air cooled) cranks are the same as the 440/22's and 400/22's (Cyclones, 75 JDX-4's, JDX-6, JDX-8's, 800's, ect)

The 340 and 440 Trailfire share a crank too, FYI.
