JDX/00 Brake Band

Post by Matt »

Did anyone ever end up finding a new brake band that fits the JDX/00 sleds from Deere?

Via JDparts.com, AM52626 replaced by TCA15878, ~$55.00. No personal experience, just remember an older post, someone went to buy it at dealer, told dealer it was for a snowmobile, they won't sell it because it was not listed for sled application, but rather some lawn application. Hope this helps

I remember that post too. I believe the dealer did sell the brake band, but noted on the invoice no warranty due to unauthorized use. It didn't impress a lot of people on the this board that a Deere dealer would do that.

Last year I read the same post you guys are referring to about the different parts numbers they've had for the brake band. I wrote down the part number, called my local implement, told them it was for a snowmobile and they had in a couple days for me. I'm surprised that some people have had such bad experiences trying to get it because the guys at my local implement were really nice about it. They even spent some time talking to me and bsing about all the old Deere sleds.

Specifically, someone had posted that the Deere one they got didn't fit. I just want to confirm that one fits, and what part # it is.
